Mariemont Elementary School is a K–6 school in Cincinnati, OH, serving 514 students as the elementary campus of Mariemont City, the top-ranked district in this group at #6 of 773 Ohio districts. Mariemont leads Indian Hill Elementary School, Mercer Elementary School, Kilgour School, and Hyde Park School in average math and ELA across grades 3–5. A few things are worth watching. Science is the relative soft spot: 80.4% trails Indian Hill Elementary School (94.8%) and Hyde Park School (90.3%), and has swung from 97.1% to 80.4% over four years. The low-income subgroup has slipped from 99th to 90th percentile as free/reduced lunch eligibility rose to 15.56%, and male students dropped to 88th percentile while female students held at 99th. Gifted students (88th percentile) are the lowest-ranked subgroup. Notably, these results come with larger classes (16.8:1) and more poverty than Indian Hill. Bottom line: a sustained top-5% Ohio school with uniformly strong results.
