Mariemont High School is a public school serving 472 students in grades 9–12 in the Cincinnati, OH 45227 area, and it is the flagship of the small Mariemont City district. It is a consistent top-tier performer: in 2025–2026 it ranked 6th of 795 Ohio high schools (99th percentile, 5 stars), and its district carries the same 6th-of-773 rank. That is a marked climb — a decade ago the school sat between 91st and 124th statewide with 4 stars — and since 2020–2021 it has finished in Ohio's top 10 in four of the last five reported years.

The comparison group is nearby geographically, but not in outcomes. Within roughly five miles are Turpin High School (38th), Madeira High School (47th), and Indian Hill High School (132nd), along with several Cincinnati Public and inner-ring suburban schools such as Deer Park Junior/Senior High School (479th), Norwood High School (495th), and Clark Montessori High School (496th). I am a freshman at MHS, soon to be a sophmore. I will say that the demands on students are strenuous and the education is in the echilon of private schools in my opinion. Socially, it is very "cliquish" If you dont make friends very easily, you will have a very, very long 4 years at Mariemont High School. Still, the school and peers are bareable. Teachers are calm and cool in their environments putting you well on your way for college. Small classes and a small school means that there is a strong student-teacher relationship and most students know eachother; even Freshman and Seniors. Core classes usually have about 30 students per class. Electives may have anywhere from 5-20 students; depending on it's popularity. THere is a wide variety of electives to choose from to get you on your way to college/ a job in a certian field. Check MHS out! Go warriors!
