Strong Foundations Charter School has consistently underperformed compared to the state average in math, reading, and science proficiency across all grade levels. The school's performance is particularly low in 5th and 8th grade math, where proficiency rates are around 20-25%, significantly below the state averages. In comparison, nearby schools like Bow Elementary School and Christa McAuliffe School have much higher academic performance, with math and reading proficiency rates in the 60-70% range.

The school's performance on key student subgroups is also concerning. Strong Foundations Charter School ranks in the bottom half of the state for female, male, and white student performance. For example, in the 2024-2025 school year, the school ranked 120th out of 182 schools for female students and 148th out of 186 schools for male students in math proficiency. The school's performance for special education students is slightly better, ranking 41st out of 70 schools in the 2022-2023 school year. While the school's student-teacher ratio is generally in line with or slightly better than nearby Concord School District schools, its overall academic performance suggests that the school may not be effectively utilizing its resources to support student learning.

Open Quote My son goes to Strong Foundations and he is excelling there. My son's teacher, Mr Symons, is an extraordinary teacher who keeps the kids engaged with his humour and wit. Learning is fun and that is what helps the kids retain the information they learn. I believe the other teachers there share with Mr. Symons a love for teaching. My son doesn't walk out of school. He skips. On our way home, he tells me enthusiastically about his day and all that he has learned. I am very happy with my child's education. From administration to teachers to students and their parents, it's been a great experience that puts a smile on my son's face every morning when he arrives and every afternoon when he leaves.
