As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Brassfield was a great school for my daughter until second grade. I soon noticed that the teachers treated the kids with tremendous disrespect. The school wasn't clean in the slightest. But back to the disrespect factor the principal or other parents don't notice how the teachers act horribly when there are no other adults. The teachers will completely change there attitude when an administrator or parent walks into the room so they don't suspect anything. Close Quote

Open Quote Our four children attended private school for years before we decided to move them to Brassfield. We are thrilled with every aspect of the education at Brassfield and feel it outdoes any other option for private education. It is truly a rare, special school. The first thing I noticed is that the teachers treat parents and students with respect and kindness. Teachers and administration are excited to be there, and they they truly seem to live for their jobs! They clearly put the students and families first and are caring and attentive toward each family's unique needs. The student/teacher ratio is low enough for every child's needs to be met. My children love their teachers and the school so much, they can't wait for Monday to come! Everyone, from the office staff, support staff, teachers, principal. vice principal, library staff, and others are friendly and caring. I highly recommend Brassfield and it is #1 with our children and our family! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
