As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I have a niece that has two children, a boy and a girl that went to Bunn Middle School. Her and her husband have never had anything but praise for Bunn Middle. Her daughter graduated last year from Bunn High School and her son is in the 11th grade at Bunn High. They are both honor students and her son is a star for the baseball team. I moved to the Bunn school district just so my daughter could attend the schools. She was inducted into the Beta club just last week and receives nothing but praise from all of her teachers. In fact one of her teachers called me on a Sunday afternoon out of the blue just to tell me what a pleasure it was teaching my daughter, how smart she was and how respectful she was. The principal is out every morning to greet each and every car as they drop off students.I have ask my daughter if she sees any bullying going on at the school and she said no. If you are interested in your child attending a school system that still values things we had growing up, then the Bunn school system is the place to be. The review given by some student in April 2013 must have been attending some other Bunn Middle School because I hear nothing but positive things coming from teachers, parents and students. Open Quote I go to Bunn Middle, and it's a terrible school, in mine, and other students opinion as well. The teachers tell you that you're never going to get anywhere in life, and you're going to fail, and they make you feel terrible about yourself. These last years there have been the worst of my life. My teachers lose my work, and give me punishments for NOTHING. The staff doesn't do anything about bullying either. I'm severely bullied, and they haven't done anything about it. They judge you as well, I'm always judged by the staff there. I was diagnosed with depression a while back, and it was when I came to this school. I've never felt this terrible about myself, and it's because of the staff. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
