Community Charter School is an independent public charter school in Stanley, North Carolina, a Gaston County community in the greater Charlotte area, serving roughly 858 students in grades K–11 and operating as its own charter district.

Reading is the school’s clearest strength. On the latest state tests, 7th-grade reading reached 70% proficiency and 8th-grade reading reached 71%, compared with statewide averages of roughly 56% in both grades; 3rd-grade (62.1%) and 6th-grade (62.7%) reading also beat the state. Those 8th-grade results place Community Charter School ahead of nearby Mountain Island Charter School (68.8%), West Lake Preparatory Academy (70.6%), and Jackson Day School (59.2%), though Lake Norman Charter (85.4%) and Lincoln Charter School (79.6%) remain higher.
