The school's relatively low percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, at 23.47% in 2023-2024, and its favorable student-teacher ratio of 11.9 in 2023-2024 may be contributing factors to its academic success. However, the school has experienced an increase in chronic absenteeism, reaching 23.9% in 2022-2023, which is a concern that the school and district should address.

Open Quote This is the worst school in this entire metro area! Do not be fooled by the rating! My child has been bullied and sexually harassed relentlessly and the administration just sweeps it under the rug and blames the victim. Even some of the teachers are bullies and the counselors and the principles are completely incompetant. They do not adhere to any of the federal laws regarding students with disabikities, and will not adhere to any type of IEP OR 504 PLAN and discriminate against disabled students. I have watched my child go through shear hell at this school! Close Quote
