Prior Lake High School is a large public comprehensive high school in Savage, Minnesota, serving about 2,856 students in grades 9–12 in a relatively affluent suburban area. It is the flagship high school of Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools, a district ranked 76th of 458 in Minnesota. The school has a low poverty rate, with 17.86% of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, far below most nearby programs. Its student-teacher ratio is 20.6, the highest among nearby schools in the comparison set.

Its strongest results are on the back end: a 97.6% graduation rate and a 0.5% dropout rate, both better than the district (94.8% graduation, 1.1% dropout) and far better than the state (84.9% graduation, 4.2% dropout). This is elite completion performance. By contrast, nearby schools like Prior Lake-Savage Area Alternative Learning Center (70.3% graduation) and ONE91 Virtual Academy Secondary (76.1% graduation) serve different populations and have much lower completion rates.
