While Shenandoah's overall performance is excellent, the school's ranking for Asian students is relatively lower, suggesting an opportunity for improvement in supporting this student subgroup. Additionally, the school's fluctuating chronic absenteeism rates, although lower than some nearby schools like Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary and Riveroaks Elementary, could be an area for further investigation and targeted interventions. Overall, Shenandoah Elementary is a standout school in the East Baton Rouge Parish district, consistently providing a high-quality education for its students.

Open Quote Excellent teachers and school support. My son just finished his first year in Shenandoah (4th grade) and we are more than happy with his teachers. They are awesome, really care about their students and love to teach. From my point of view, the school can move up 100 steps up on his ranking Close Quote
