Open Quote My son switched from Eastside in D.S. to Woodlawn this year. He's in 2nd grade. We've not been impressed or happy with anything this school has, or should I say, doesn't have to offer. There is no extra help and I've conferened with the teachers many times and they don't see concerned. He has 26 students in his class, which is too many in my opinion. The teachers yell and literally tell the students to "shut up". That is not acceptable in my opinion and have made several complaints. I will probably be seeking private school next year. I initially intended to get him into a magnet program but his grades have dropped drastically since last year due to him being depressed about going to this school and the lack of help we've received.
