Ottawa Senior High in Ottawa, Kansas, serves 681 students in grades 6–12 and has a mix of strong and weak results in its 2025–26 KAP scores. Graduation is a bright spot: 96% of students graduated in 2023–24, compared with 90% statewide, but chronic absenteeism is a concern at 35%, versus 18% statewide. Most importantly, science is the school’s clearest academic weakness.
