Open Quote I love this school! The small ratios and individualized instruction makes a huge difference. My kids love the animals and garden and the fact there are lots of windows to look out. They also love that they get help when they need it, but they get to excel in their strong areas. This is not like other schools, it is more like tutoring. Close Quote

Open Quote I have twin children at Chandler Academy and I could not be happier. One child was having trouble writing and my other child needed help with reading. Both children were tested and then had a custom curriculum designed for their strengths and weaknesses. After 6 months both had made huge improvements without being held back in the other subjects. This school is really more like private tutoring all day long. The teachers are excellent and the ratios are small so every child gets one on one attention.
I love that the school is tucked back on the property and there are farm animals and a gardening area for the children to interact with. It is like no other school and my children are thriving there. I highly recommend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote Check the Better Business Bureau rating for the school first. And check Georgia's "Bright From the Start" program, of which Chandler should be licensed--they are not. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
