Henry Elementary School is a PK–5 school in the Colorado Springs School District No. 11, serving 306 students in the eastern part of Colorado Springs. With 65.4% of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and a 14.7:1 student-teacher ratio, Henry serves a predominantly low-income population. Its chronic absenteeism rate of 38.5% is high in absolute terms, but notably better than most nearby D11 elementaries like Twain Elementary School (55.0%) and Monroe Elementary School (48.5%).

Academically, Henry is a bright spot within its immediate neighborhood even though it trails state averages. On 2025–2026 CMAS tests, 31.7% of students met proficiency in ELA and 26.8% in math, compared to state averages of 44.7% and 37.3%.
