Summary

Maryland Elementary is a K–5 school serving 466 students in Vista, California, in the Vista Unified area. Chronic absenteeism is high: 27% in 2025–2026, compared with 20% in the district and 18% statewide. The most important finding is that the school’s proficiency rates in English Language Arts (ELA), math and science were lower than those of every nearby K–5 school with scores for that year.
