Its latest test results are above state and district averages in English language arts, math, and science. Most importantly, 97% of students graduated in 2025–2026—10 percentage points above San Juan Unified and 9 points above the state.

Bella Vista’s strongest local academic edge is in math, and its advantage extends across all three tested subjects compared with five nearby traditional high schools: its results were 64% in English language arts, 43% in math, and 49% in science, versus peer averages of 49%, 21%, and 31%.
