Ridgeview High serves grades 9–12 and enrolls 2,575 students in Bakersfield, within the Kern High district. Its completion and attendance results are strong, but its academic results are a concern: in 2025–2026, proficiency was 48% in English language arts (ELA), 14% in math and 24% in science. The most important finding is that Ridgeview’s academic results have weakened, and math proficiency is especially far below the state.
