William McKinley Elementary serves 598 students in grades K–6 in Corona, within the Corona-Norco Unified district. Its 2025–2026 proficiency rates were 41% in English language arts (ELA), 30% in math, and 23% in science, all below state and district results. Fifth grade was particularly weak, with results below the state in all three subjects. The central concern is that students are performing below both state and district levels across every tested subject, with science the largest shortfall against the state.
