In 2025–26, 49% of students were proficient in English Language Arts (ELA) and 41% in math—both above state and district results, but below nearby-school averages of 53% and 46%. The central takeaway for families comparing local schools is that Mountain View is doing better than the state and district overall, but trails the nearby-school average in both subjects, especially math.

Results vary considerably by grade.
