About the ACT Plan: ACT Plan helps tenth graders build a solid foundation for future academic and career success and provides information needed to each address school district's high priority issues. ACT Plan contains four curriculum-based assessments—English, mathematics, reading, and science—and includes a career exploration component that stimulates students' thinking about future plans and relates personal characteristics to career options.? As the ACT Plan sunsets in fall 2014, it will be replaced by ACT Aspire.

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
