Summary

Arapahoe Elementary serves pre-K through grade 8 in Arapahoe, Wyoming, and enrolls 392 students. In 2025–26, its proficiency results were below Wyoming averages in all 14 reported subject-and-grade results. Across grades 3–8, average ELA proficiency was 18%, compared with 58% statewide; math was under 10.4%, compared with 58% statewide. Science, reported in grades 4 and 8, averaged under 13.5%, versus 52% statewide. The most important finding is that the school faces broad academic challenges, with math furthest behind the state.

The school’s relative bright spots are grade 8 ELA and grade 5 math, but both remain well below state results: 28% versus 61% in grade 8 ELA, and 26% versus 61% in grade 5 math.
