Sharon Community is a PK–8 elementary/middle school in Sharon, WI, a small community in southeastern Wisconsin, serving 197 students as part of the Sharon J11 School District. It ranks 390 of 1,039 Wisconsin schools (62nd percentile, 3 stars) in 2025–26 — a major turnaround from 2018–19, when it sat in the bottom quartile at 20th percentile, 1 star. A dip to 48th percentile in 2024–25 shows the climb hasn't been a straight line. About 58% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, so this is a relatively high-need population.

English language arts is a real strength: in 2025–26 Sharon scored above the state in every tested grade, with grade 4 ELA at 82.35%, the highest among nearby schools with comparable data. Grade 4 math (88.24%) and grade 8 math, ELA, social studies, and science were also strong. Math is uneven, though, and grade 5 is the clear red flag — just 16.67% proficiency versus roughly 52% statewide, the lowest nearby. Fontana Elementary enrolls the same 197 students and ranks similarly (59th percentile) but serves a much lower-poverty population (17.77%) while spending more; Traver Elementary has similar poverty (56%) yet ranks 32nd percentile despite spending $27,340 per student.
