Deerfield High is a small public high school in Deerfield, Wisconsin, serving 207 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Deerfield Community School District. In 2025–26 the school ranked 283rd of 533 Wisconsin high schools (47th percentile, 2 stars), while its district ranked 279th of 432 (35th percentile, 2 stars). Its record has been uneven: top-quartile standing in 2018–19 (78th percentile) and 2020–21 (76th), a drop to the 32nd percentile in both 2023–24 and 2024–25, and a rebound to 47th percentile in 2025–26 — a pattern common in small schools where one class can move the numbers.

Completion is the clearest strength. The 2024–25 graduation rate was 100.0% with a 0.0% dropout rate, compared with 92.0% and 1.1% statewide, and better than every traditional nearby high school, including Cambridge High (98.4%), Lake Mills High (98.3%), McFarland High (96.6%), and Sun Prairie East High (96.1%). Subgroup results also differ sharply: female students rank in the 71st percentile while male students have sat in the bottom fifth of schools for three straight years, even as low-income students (76th percentile) and special education students (68th percentile) are served relatively well.
