The Deerfield Community School District serves roughly 730 students across three schools in a small Wisconsin community: Deerfield Elementary (PK–6, 409 students), Deerfield Middle (7–8, 114 students), and Deerfield High (9–12, 207 students). The district overall is rated 2 stars, ranking 279th of 432 Wisconsin districts, at the 35th percentile.

Deerfield Elementary stands out for attendance, with 5.8% chronic absenteeism in 2024–2025 — about half the district's 11.2% and one-third of the state's 17.3% — plus above-state results in 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade math and ELA. Its weak spot is 3rd grade in 2025–2026, where ELA fell to 39.39% (state 52.08%) and math to 48.48% (state 54.75%).
