Colfax High is a small public school in Colfax, Wisconsin, serving about 318 students in grades 7–12 as part of the Colfax School District, which makes it one of the smaller high schools in the region — larger than Boyceville High and New Auburn High, similar in size to Elk Mound High, and much smaller than Menomonie High and the Eau Claire high schools. Because it includes grades 7 and 8, it reports middle-school test results that most nearby high schools do not.

Colfax ranked 284th of 533 Wisconsin high schools in 2025–2026 (47th percentile, 2 stars), a sizable jump from the prior year's 13th percentile, though still below its 2018–2019 high point. Its strongest results come in the middle grades, where 8th-grade ELA, math, science, and social studies all scored well above state averages.
