The Neenah Joint School District in Wisconsin serves roughly 6,225 students across 10 schools — eight elementary schools (mostly K–4, plus one PK–6 charter), one middle school (grades 4–8), and one high school (grades 9–12) — and is ranked 139 of 432 districts statewide, at the 68th percentile with 3 stars.

That district-wide average hides a very wide range. Lakeview Elementary is the top performer: 5 stars, 93rd percentile, with 4th-grade scores of 80.3% in ELA and 84.85% in math, plus only 3.4% chronic absenteeism. ACE Alliance Charter Elementary (88th percentile) has the district's lowest free/reduced lunch rate (9.33%) and lowest per-student spending ($11,396), though its 5th-grade math is 47.62%. Tullar Elementary is consistently strong at 4 stars, and Clayton Elementary has the district's lowest absenteeism at 1.9%. Coolidge Elementary (72nd percentile) and Spring Road Elementary (69th) sit in the middle, with Spring Road posting the top 3rd-grade math score at 79.55%. At the secondary level, Neenah High graduates 95.8% of students (state: 92.0%) and beats the state in every tested subject, while Neenah Middle School posts 8th-grade scores above state averages.

The main equity concern is Taft Elementary: 1 star, 17th percentile, with the highest poverty rate (59.22%) and the highest spending per student ($15,270) yet the weakest scores — 4th-grade math at 32.43%. Horace Mann Elementary is also below district norms (2 stars, 47th percentile) but has climbed from the 30th to 47th percentile over three years.
