Gilbert is the strongest traditional elementary school in the nearby Yakima comparison group based on 2025–26 results. Students reached proficiency at rates of 38.27% in English language arts (ELA), 35.68% in math, and 53.33% in science—the highest results among nearby schools including Nob Hill Elementary School, Whitney Elementary, and Robertson Elementary.
