The West Valley School District (Yakima) in Washington serves about 5,000 students across 13 schools, ranging from elementary to high school, including traditional, alternative, and virtual programs, and maintains a strong overall state ranking.

Parents will find several high-performing elementary schools, with Apple Valley Elementary and Cottonwood Elementary School consistently ranking among the top in the state, demonstrating strong test scores in core subjects. In contrast, Summitview Elementary is the lowest-ranked elementary school in the district.
