Liberty Junior High & Elementary in Spangle, Washington, serves 437 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade and offers a small-community, broad grade-span setting within the highly rated Liberty School District. The district ranks in the 87th percentile statewide, while the school ranks in the 71st percentile and has a four-star rating. Liberty has improved substantially from the mid-2010s and has remained above the statewide midpoint in recent years.

Academically, Liberty is stronger than Washington overall: 60.76% of students are proficient in English language arts, 47.92% in math, and 60.87% in science. ELA has improved steadily, and grade-level results are fairly consistent, ranging from 56.52% to 65.22% among reported grades.
