Eagleridge Elementary is a K–5 school with 457 students on Thornton Road in Ferndale, serving families in the Ferndale School District near the Bellingham and Meridian areas. The most important concern is broad academic underperformance. Central Elementary, Skyline Elementary School, and Custer Elementary also performed substantially better. The lowest subgroup effectiveness results were for low-socioeconomic-status students, at the 5th percentile, and special education students, at the 8th percentile. Key areas to investigate include foundational math, special education services, intervention systems, attendance, and why nearby schools achieve stronger results with broadly similar staffing ratios.
