Nine Mile Falls School District serves approximately 1,435 students across five schools, covering grades from prekindergarten through 12th grade in the Nine Mile Falls area of Washington. The district ranks 23rd among 238 Washington districts, placing it in the 90th percentile statewide. Enrollment ranges from 51 students at the alternative-style Nine Mile Family Partnership Program to 494 students at Lakeside High School. Grade 8 math is the most urgent concern, at just 30.28% proficiency, compared with much stronger Grade 6 results. Nine Mile Falls Elementary recovered strongly in the rankings and improved in science, but its science performance remains below the district average. Parents comparing schools should view the district as generally high-performing, while paying particular attention to math support, middle-school trends, and the effects of small class sizes on year-to-year results.
