Despite being the smallest of the comparable middle schools nearby, it stands out for its demographic profile: 74.4% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, the highest rate among Stafford County middle schools. The school ranks in the 29th percentile of Virginia middle schools (295th out of 416), down from the 56th percentile a decade ago. By contrast, nearby Rodney E.
