Open Quote I enrolled my learning differences high schooler (w/an IEP) in Washington-Liberty upon moving to Arlington, given what appeared to be an otherwise good school rating. Sadly, our now 3 year experience has reflected anything but. There are well intended staff and policies in place, but the reality is surface level actions and what I can only describe as an ineffective box checking adherence to bureaucratic processes, leaving a bright (although different) child to struggle to the point of wanting to drop off. If your child is neurotypical, perhaps the school is good, but if your child requires an IEP or creative approaches to learning I would strongly advise against enrollment in Washington-Liberty High School.
