Cottonwood School is a public elementary school in Salt Lake City serving about 340 students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade within the Granite District, in an area known for unusually strong nearby elementary schools.

Academically, Cottonwood remains one of Utah’s strongest schools. It ranked 34th out of 563 elementary schools statewide in 2025–2026, placing it in the 94th percentile, after ranking sixth in 2024–2025 and among the top 15 in nearly every reported year since 2015–2016.
