Ascent Academies of Utah Lehi is an alternative public school in Lehi serving 646 students in grades K–9 in a growing Utah County area. Its academic results are generally stronger than Utah averages, especially in mathematics and science, although its Ascent Academies of Utah district ranks 59th out of 92 Utah districts, at the 36th percentile.

For 2025–26, Ascent’s average proficiency was about 56.8% in English language arts, 58.0% in mathematics, and 63.2% in science. Mathematics exceeded the state in every tested grade, while science did so in all five tested grades. The strongest results were 5th-grade mathematics at 78.9% and 5th-grade science at 83.1%. ELA was above the state in five of six grades but was weaker in 4th grade, where 43.3% of students were proficient. Compared with nearby alternatives, Ascent generally outperformed Canyon Grove Academy, Athenian eAcademy, and Lakeview Academy, but Renaissance Academy and Lincoln Academy were more consistently successful.

Still, that remains considerably higher than Lincoln’s 9.4% and Athenian’s 12.8%. The student-teacher ratio also rose to 19.1, which is worth monitoring.
