Utah Arts Academy is a small public high school in Saint George, Utah, serving grades 8–12 with 311 students in a specialized school setting near several larger traditional high schools.

Utah Arts Academy has shown recent improvement in statewide standing, rising from 89th of 138 schools in 2023–24 to 70th of 139 in 2025–26, reaching the 50th percentile and earning three stars. Mathematics is the clearest concern: 8th-grade proficiency was under 21%, and only 10.7% of 10th graders were proficient, compared with 29.4% statewide and 30.6% at Utah Online 7-12. By contrast, 9th-grade math and science exceeded state averages. Families may therefore want to ask about attendance supports, math intervention, and the transition into upper-level courses. The school’s small size may allow closer relationships, but it can also make year-to-year results more volatile.
