Wright Middle School is a public school in Nashville, TN, serving 498 students in grades 6–8 and is part of the Metro Nashville Public Schools district. The school has ranked near the bottom of Tennessee middle schools for more than a decade, with 2025-2026 math proficiency at just 7.4% and ELA proficiency at 9.5%—roughly 25 and 22 percentage points below district averages, respectively. Wright spends a very high $19,879 per student, yet this investment has not translated into academic results, ranking the school in the 7th percentile statewide.
