Lynchburg Elementary School is a PK-6 elementary school in Lynchburg, TN, serving 482 students in Moore County Schools. The school has historically been a solid mid-tier performer in Tennessee, but in the most recent school year (2025-2026), it slipped to the 39th percentile statewide — its lowest ranking since 2017-2018 and a sharp drop from its 69th percentile peak just two years ago. One clear standout strength: chronic absenteeism is just 8.7%, less than half the state average of 18.3%, and among the best in the area — only Broadview Elementary School (6.0%) and Robert E Lee Elementary School (6.5%) do better.
