ELA is weak across all grade levels, and male, special education, and military-connected students score below expectations. Spending is moderate at $12,968 per student, and higher spending elsewhere doesn’t guarantee better results—Byrns Darden is a prime example. While not yet back to its pre-pandemic peak, Pisgah is clearly moving in the right direction, with outstanding attendance and improving test scores making it a strong choice for families.
