Marion County High School is a traditional public high school in Jasper, Tennessee, serving 543 students in grades 9–12 and standing as the largest traditional high school in Marion County Schools. For the 2025–2026 school year, it ranks 224th out of 400 Tennessee high schools, landing in the 44th percentile with a 2-star rating — a notable decline from a decade ago, when the school ranked in the 84th percentile.

Academically, math remains the school's biggest challenge. Only 17.9% of students are proficient in Algebra I and 15.8% in Algebra II, roughly half the state averages. The direction is encouraging, though: Algebra I proficiency has doubled since 2022–2023, and Geometry jumped from 8.7% to 29.0% over the same period. The school comes much closer to state averages in English and science, and in 10th-grade Biology it actually exceeds the state average (46.2% vs. 41.3%).
