Summary

Agnes E. Little School is an elementary school located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, serving students from kindergarten to 5th grade with a total enrollment of 330 students. The school is part of the Pawtucket School District, which is ranked 43 out of 60 districts in the state and has a 1-star rating from SchoolDigger.

While Agnes E. Little School has consistently ranked in the bottom half of Rhode Island elementary schools, the school's performance on standardized tests is below the Pawtucket district and state averages in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. However, the school's performance for certain student subgroups, such as African American and Hispanic students, is relatively stronger compared to other schools in the state. The school also has a high percentage of students from low-income families, which may present additional challenges that the school and district need to address.

Compared to nearby schools in the Pawtucket district, Curvin-McCabe School and Potter-Burns School demonstrate that higher academic achievement is possible within the same district context. Additionally, the performance of International Charter School and The Learning Community, which serve a similar demographic population, suggests that alternative educational models may be worth exploring to improve outcomes for students at Agnes E. Little School.

Open Quote This school needs security Point Blake. The second week of school there were 20 kids on the field from ages 7 to about 12 fist fighting, as the school was called from several parents the principle did not attend to the situation until 15 minutes later and of course the kids were gone. Also, at the end of the day in front of the school there are boys and girls smacking each other in the face, throwing their backpacks at each other and the swearing is unbelievable. They also stare you down, try to touch the back of your car if they are walking behind it, they talk non sense to parents driving by that are just trying to pick up their kids. It is ridiculous the amount of disrespectful children there is at this school. They claim to have a no bulling program as well and that is a big joke. I can not wait to get my children OUT of this school. If I could of gave no stars I would have!!! Close Quote
