The Blackstone Academy area has one school, Blackstone Academy Charter, serving grades 9–12 and enrolling 357 students. Its clearest strength is graduation: 97.4% of students graduated in 2024–25, compared with 85.5% statewide and 93.8% in the Blackstone Academy district. At the same time, its latest reported test proficiency rates are below state results in every listed subject, so the high graduation rate does not mean test performance is at the state level.

Blackstone Academy Charter is both the area’s highest- and lowest-scoring school simply because it is the only one; the list cannot show how it compares with nearby or similar schools. Against state results, its strongest relative test result is grade-11 SAT mathematics, where 14.5% were proficient versus 23.5% statewide, a 9-point gap. Its largest gap is grade-11 SAT English language arts: 26.5% versus 47.8%, or 21.3 points below the state. Results improved in three of the four matched SAT and PSAT10 comparisons from 2024–25 to 2025–26, and the average gap to the state narrowed by 2 points, from 15.6 to 13.6 points. Math made the clearest gains: SAT proficiency rose 5.7 points and PSAT10 proficiency rose 7.1 points; the exception was SAT ELA, which fell 9.8 points and widened its state gap to 21.3 points. SchoolDigger lists the school at 40th of 58 in 2025–26, up from 44th of 60 the prior year; its separate district summary gives it 2 stars and a 33rd-percentile position. The school reports a 14.2 student-teacher ratio and an 81.23% free/reduced-lunch rate, useful context when considering its results.
