Open Quote Our school is poor and has really crappy standards for graduation. There are too many meetings for teachers and it is often hard to get help from a teacher before or after school because they are in meetings so much. Money is being spent for things that are not needed such as a turf field rather than new computers or books. Teachers are pressured to give students passing grades even if the student doesn't deserve or earn it. The school is structure itself is very depressing. We do have a very good swim team and many of the teachers are very good teachers, but there are many bad ones also. The student body itself is very good. There is very little bullying outside of the Mexican gangs we have at our school. We, however, are very unprepared to handle a school shooting, as a loaded pistol was found in the mens locker room a few months ago and very few people knew about it until the next day.
