As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Do not move here if your child is advanced in math, at all. All advanced math classes have been cancelled. "Extensions" are truly busy work. The "harder" math consists of problems with numbers that don't work out evenly. 1/4 turns into 1/6 in the problem, for example. Classes do not move to the next topic until every single student has fully mastered the topic. Don't believe statistics about how well students are doing in math. In my sixth grader's class there is one and only one graded assignment per quarter. It's a unit test and students are allowed to retake it indefinitely until they master it. The claim that harder math will be offered in HS is false. Students can choose college math that claims it will lead to calculus, but there is no way that can happen with how slowly the classes are moving. The other options are financial math (how to balance your checkbook and the like) for students who don't plan to go to college and trades math. This is not advanced math, end of story. On their recent youth truth survey, parents AND students rated "I feel safe at school" as the most positive and "my school challenges me academically" as they least positive.

The bullying is off the charts. I had to pick my child up from school for their own safety. My child must finish school online and it appears nothing will be done to the bully. The most they will do is move the bully to a different schedule to minimize contact with the student. The rumors have taken on a life of their own and you can't move rumors to a different schedule. Yep, that's it. My child has done absolutely nothing wrong. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
