Deep Creek - Damascus K-8 School is a K–8 school of 477 students in the unincorporated Damascus area of Clackamas County, Oregon, serving families in the Gresham-Barlow School District 10J. It is the only K–8 campus among its closest district peers, and it is also the strongest performer among them: in 2025-26 the school ranked 289 of 709 Oregon schools (59th percentile, 3 stars), while the district as a whole ranked 114 of 141 (19th percentile, 1 star).

That district-versus-school gap is the main headline. Deep Creek students reach 50.5% proficiency in English language arts, 41.4% in math and 32.7% in science — roughly 18 points above the district in ELA and 21.5 points above it in math, and above the state in all three subjects. My son has had the worst year at this school. The bullying that is allowed to go on is really bad. No one seems to do anything about it. The principle is never there when these bullying issues happen.This is an unsafe school for our children to attend. Someone needs to do something to change these issues at this school. Stand up and be a principle and stop the bullying!!! Close Quote
