Open Quote They would not allow my five year old to stand in the gym before school because he was scared even though he is supposed to be allowed at that age. A teacher told my son and his father to leave so they went out side my son seemed to calm down and it was almost time to go in so his father came home. Five minutes later some man (who did not work at the school) was at the front door with my son thank goodness we just lived around the corner or it could have been worse. No one at the school even noticed he left. They called me the next day to see where he had been that's when I found out that man did not work for the school he just hangs out at the playground every morning. I did not feel that my son was safe so I pulled him. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
