ZIP code 43235, in the Worthington area of central Ohio, is home to eight schools — six elementary schools, one middle school, no traditional high schools, and one K–12 alternative/virtual school — serving about 8,513 students combined. Five of them belong to Worthington City schools: Mccord Middle School and the elementaries Worthington Hills Elementary School, Granby Elementary School, Bluffsview Elementary School, and Brookside Elementary School. Daniel Wright Elementary School is in Dublin City schools, Gables Elementary School is in Columbus City Schools District, and Ohio Connections Academy Inc is a statewide alternative school that alone enrolls 5,191 students, roughly 61% of everyone in this list.

Academically, the Worthington schools lead. Bluffsview Elementary School is the strongest, ranking in the 96th percentile with 5 stars and 2025–2026 proficiency as high as 98.2 in 5th grade ELA and 96.3 in 5th grade math, against state rates of 70.4 and 59.1. Worthington Hills Elementary School ranks in the 89th percentile and posts 94.9 in 5th grade ELA; it also has the lowest chronic absenteeism (6.4%) and the lowest reported free/reduced lunch rate (6.63%). Mccord Middle School ranks in the 83rd percentile, with Algebra I proficiency of 96.2 versus 61.6 statewide.

Elsewhere results are more mixed. Brookside Elementary School (76th percentile, a 12.7 student/teacher ratio) and Granby Elementary School (54th percentile) are solid but mid-range. Daniel Wright Elementary School ranks in the 38th percentile despite sitting in a high-ranked Dublin district, scoring below the Dublin average in every listed 2025–2026 subject. Gables Elementary School ranks in the 26th percentile — above its Columbus district but below state averages — with 30.9% chronic absenteeism, far below the district's 53.8%. Ohio Connections Academy Inc is the outlier: a large virtual K–12 school with an 82.4% graduation rate, a 39.8 student/teacher ratio, and proficiency below state in every listed 2025–2026 test.
