Blendon Middle School is a grades 6–8 campus at 223 S Otterbein Ave in Westerville, Ohio, serving 609 students as part of the Westerville City district. For 2025–2026 it ranks 273rd of 1,046 Ohio middle schools — the 74th percentile, or 4 stars — above the district's overall standing and second among Westerville's five middle schools, behind Genoa Middle School (84th percentile) and ahead of Heritage Middle School (65th), Walnut Springs Middle School (64th), and Minerva Park Middle School (56th).

Blendon's strengths are broad. It beats the Ohio average in all nine reported state test subjects and beats its own district in eight of nine, with English language arts near 73% proficient in every grade and eighth-grade science at 77.7% — 16.5 points above the state. End-of-course results are exceptional: 100% proficiency in Algebra I for a third straight year and 100% in American History, with Algebra I the highest in the district (Genoa 99%). Special education students perform at the 84th percentile, above the school's overall 74th, and chronic absenteeism (16.3%) has stayed below the district's 18.2% every year on record.
