Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy (CCPA) is an alternative K–12 school at 1425 Linn St in Cincinnati's West End, serving 949 students and operating as its own district. It is one of the larger alternative schools in the nearby group — smaller than School For Creative and Performing Arts (1,300 students) and Western Hills University High School (1,342), but larger than most others.

CCPA's standout strength is graduation: 100.0% in 2025–26, tied with Spencer Center for Gifted and Exceptional Students and SCPA at the top of the local group, and well above Western Hills (67.5%), John J. Gilligan Digital Academy (68.8%), Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy (81.5%), and the Cincinnati Public Schools rate of 80.6%. Graduation has stayed between 91.1% and 100.0% for five years. Chronic absenteeism, 32.3% in 2025–26, is lower than the district's 44.6% and lower than most nearby alternatives, though higher than Spencer Center (21.0%) and SCPA (23.2%).

Test results are more mixed. CCPA beat the state in 3rd grade ELA (84.3 vs. 63.4), 3rd grade math, Biology, and Geometry, and came close in Government, American History, and Algebra I. It trailed the state in 5th–8th grade ELA, 6th grade math (26.8 vs. 56.2), 5th and 8th grade science, and English II (48.5 vs. 62.7), and generally scores below Spencer Center and SCPA. Still, it outperformed Oyler School, Gilligan, and Pleasant Hill in most middle-grade subjects, with large 2024–25 to 2025–26 gains in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, 4th grade ELA, Geometry, and Biology. Reported spending ($7,310 per student in 2018–19) is lower than most nearby schools, while its student–teacher ratio rose to 19.7 in 2024–25.
