Open Quote This is one of the ONLY elementary schools in North Las Vegas to staff every classroom with a licensed teacher no long-term substitutes hold any teaching positions at Squires. That is a testament to the friendly administrators running that school. My children have never had anything other than a CCSD educator teaching them, and neither did I as a former student of Squires back in 90s.

Most of the teachers drive half way across the valley just to teach at Squires, and other than the occasional retirement, most remain at that school in their positions. That says a lot to my family about their dedication to reaching out and educating our mostly Hispanic student population. My children love school and what more could a father ask for in this world. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
