CIVICA Academy is an alternative public charter school in North Las Vegas, Nevada, serving roughly 1,074 students in grades PK–11 as part of the State Sponsored Charter Schools district. Nearly every student comes from a lower-income household — 100% qualify for free or reduced-price lunch — and the school's results have improved markedly in recent years, with all-grade math proficiency rising from 19.4% in 2022–23 to 41.3% in 2025–26 and reading climbing from 31.6% to 55.8%.

Reading is the school's standout strength: at 55.8%, CIVICA is above the state's 45.2% and higher than every nearby same-district charter in the data, including Founders Academy of Las Vegas (52.7%), Mater Academy East (52.3%), Leadership Academy of Nevada (51.3%), Sports Leadership and Management Academy (48.5%), and Somerset Academy Losee (47.8%). Math (41.3%) is above the state's 36.2% but below the Clark County district's 48.7%. Per-student spending is $9,362, mid-range among nearby charters, while the student-teacher ratio of 41.3 is the second highest among them, though far better than its 95.8 in 2022–23. Nearby Clark County alternative schools such as Miller John F and Stewart Helen J serve much smaller enrollments and are not directly comparable. Overall, CIVICA is an improving school with genuine reading strengths, a science gap to watch, and attendance that is heading in the right direction.
